Significance of the Hostility Meter
The Hostility Meter tracks rising tensions between two kingdoms. Key thresholds determine relation states and war eligibility.
Relation Thresholds
- 15 points → Kingdom becomes Unfriendly
- 30 points → Kingdom becomes Hostile
- The meter is capped at 180 points
War Eligibility
- If both kingdoms reach Hostile, the kingdom with fewer points may declare war.
- If both reach 60 points, either kingdom may declare war.
Decay
- Hostile meter will now decay after 48 hours of going hostile, decay rate will ramp with meter points Age 115
- Otherwise;Age 111
- It will only be reset by:
- Ceasefire
- Both Kingdoms have their Hostility towards each other reset to 0
- Entering war
- When entering war, all Hostility towards your Kingdom will be reset to 0
- All Hostility your Kingdom has towards other Kingdoms will remain
- (e.g. if you are Hostile towards Kingdom A then enter war with Kingdom B,
- when you leave war you will still be Hostile towards Kingdom A, however, they will have 0 meter towards you)
- Aggressor Force CeaseFire is removed completely
Attacks, Spells, Ops and Hostility Generation
- Different offensive actions add varying amounts to the Hostility Meter.
- Standard Attacks
- Traditional March, Conquest, Raze, Plunder, Massacre, Learn
- Each successful attack adds +3 points.
- Ambush
- Adds +1.5 points.
- Bounces
- Meter gain is based on Offense Sent vs Defense.
- A failed Raze generates +3 points (see Age 109).
- Traditional March, Conquest, Raze, Plunder, Massacre, Learn
Dragons
Sending a Dragon adds +30 points.
